JAN 9, BASARA

MLA Ramarao Patel emphasized the need for the Congress government to fulfill the promises made during the elections and ensure that welfare benefits reach every poor person. Speaking at a function in Basara on Thursday, where he distributed cheques to 21 beneficiaries under the Kalyana Lakshmi scheme, two under the Shaadi Mubarak scheme, and 22 under the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, he criticized the delay in providing essential benefits.

Ramarao Patel pointed out that, like the previous government’s promise, Rs. 1 lakh was being given for Kalyana Lakshmi, but the promised gold was yet to be provided. He also questioned the delay in issuing ration cards, leaving people struggling, and stated that the government has yet to provide the houses under the Indiramma scheme, despite the passage of time. He demanded that the government release Rs. 42 crores for the development of Basara and emphasized that the government should act on the long-pending issues.

In addition, he conducted the ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of CC roads worth Rs. 11 lakh in Basara under the employment guarantee fund and inaugurated CC road works in Takli village worth Rs. 10 lakh.

On the establishment of a Central School in Basara, MLA Patel inspected temporary buildings to be used for the school and directed local leaders and officials to select the most suitable building for students. He assured that the school would soon be operational.

The event saw the participation of Market Committee Chairman Anand Rao Patel, former ZPTC Savali Ramesh, former MPP Vishwanath Patel, BJP State Executive Member Ravi Pandey, and other local leaders.
