Four New Schemes to be Launched on Republic Day

Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari announced that four new welfare schemes will be officially launched on January 26, Republic Day, as part of the government’s commitment to providing essential benefits to the people. The schemes include Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa, Farmer’s Assurance, Indiramma Houses, and New Ration Card distribution.
In a video conference with district collectors, the Chief Secretary reviewed the preparations for the launch and expressed appreciation for the successful conduct of village and ward meetings. She instructed that eligible villages, with 250-400 houses, be selected for the launch in coordination with local public representatives.
The CS emphasized the importance of ensuring that only eligible beneficiaries are included in the lists and that any new applications received in village meetings are carefully reviewed. The schemes will be launched at 1 PM on January 26 in the selected villages, with proper arrangements for audio-visual setups and the Chief Minister’s message broadcast in every village.
District Collector Sandeep Kumar Jh shared that a total of 40,360 applications have been received for the four schemes, with 16,505 applications for new ration cards, 14,542 applications for Indiramma Houses, 141 for Farmer’s Assurance, and 9,172 for Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa. He assured that preparations for the launch will be carried out meticulously as per government instructions.
The video conference also included participation from Additional Collector Khimya Nayak, Mandal Special Officers, and other concerned officials.
