“National-Level Tribal Cultural Program Organized in Chandrapur

Chandrapur, December 2:

The Maharashtra Tribal Welfare Department of Chandrapur District, in collaboration with Koya Rajal Koyarani Production led by Mesram Kavitha Meghraj, hosted a national-level tribal modeling and cultural program on December 1, 2024, at Imperial Palace, Chandrapur.

The event saw significant participation from states like Assam, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Telangana, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the Gond tribal community through vibrant performances and displays.

Prominent representatives from Telangana included tribal youth leader and activist Purka Bapurao, Sidam Arjun Master, Gondwana Gond Mahasabha National Leader Mesram Durgu, Gondwana Panchayati Raai Center District Leader Medi Koreang Seetharam, Koya Punyam Gondi Dharma Telangana State Leader Mesram Manohar (B.Ed Principal), and Telangana Gondwana Republican Party State President Koreang Daulat Rao.

The program highlighted the cultural diversity and traditions of tribal communities, fostering unity and preserving indigenous identities.
