The hundi counting at Sri Dubba Rajeshwara Swamy Devasthanam was conducted today, revealing a collection of ₹7,79,255. In preparation for the upcoming Maha Shivaratri Jatara, the temple management invited lowest quotations for various arrangements, resulting in the following allocations:
1. Wall Painting and Whitewashing: ₹1,24,000
2. Chaluva Pandals and Queue Lines: ₹98,000
3. Tent House Supplies: ₹58,000
4. Flower Decorations: ₹74,340
5. Grocery Supply: ₹10,106
However, the lighting and mess arrangements remain pending. Auctions for rights to sell coconuts, jaggery, puja materials, flower garlands, toys, and manage footwear safekeeping could not be finalized due to a lack of deposits.
The event was attended by Endowments Department Inspector R. Sujatha, Founder Family Member Porandla Shankarayya, former trustees, VDC members of Pembatla village, village elders, and Seva Samithi members. The Executive Officer, V. Anusha, shared these details.
