Nalgonda District Focuses on Error-Free Voter List for January 2025

In preparation for the special voter list revision program for January 1, 2025, Nalgonda District Voter List Observer and State BC Welfare Commissioner B. Balamayadevi emphasized the importance of creating an error-free voter list. On Monday, she reviewed the progress of the special voter list revision with District Collector Ila Tripathi, Additional Collectors, RDOs, and Tahsildars in the Collector’s Chamber.
Balamayadevi instructed that all meetings related to the voter list special revision be documented and made available on the official website. Stressing the significance of high-quality voter ID cards, she directed officials to ensure accuracy, particularly in voter photographs, to avoid discrepancies. She examined sample voter ID cards to ensure compliance and accuracy.
She emphasized the need for polling station-wise verification of the voter list to ensure it is free of errors, with special attention to additions, deletions, and corrections. As per the Election Commission’s directive, she urged officials to take all necessary steps to publish the final voter list by January 6, 2025.
The review meeting was attended by District Collector Ila Tripathi, Additional Collector J. Srinivas, Miryalaguda Sub-Collector Narayana Amit, DRO Amarender, RDOs S. Ramanareddy, Y. Ashok Reddy, Venkateshwarlu, and other concerned Tahsildars.
