Infant Adoption Ceremony Held at Karimnagar Shishu Gruha

Karimnagar, December 11, An 18-month-old infant from the Karimnagar Shishu Gruha, under the Department of Women Development and Child Welfare, was officially adopted by a childless couple in a formal ceremony presided over by District Collector Pamela Satpathy.
The adoption event took place on Wednesday at the Collectorate Conference Hall. Speaking on the occasion, District Collector Satpathy emphasized the importance of legally adopting children through authorized channels. She urged childless couples to approach the District Welfare Officer’s office in Bhagath Nagar, Karimnagar, to initiate the adoption process. She also highlighted the necessity of legal adoption procedures, even in cases involving relatives.
The event was attended by District Welfare Officer Sabita, CWC Chairperson Dhanalakshmi, and DCPO Parveen, who extended their support to ensure a smooth and lawful adoption process.
