Welfare Schools Benefit from Revised Diet Charges

Government Whip Adluri Laxman Kumar and District Collector Koya Sri Harsha inaugurated the revised diet charges program at Mallapur Residential School and Jakkannapalli Tribal Welfare School. Diet charges have been increased to ₹1,330 for grades 3-7, ₹1,540 for grades 8-10, and ₹2,100 for higher education, ensuring students receive nutritious meals.
The MLA praised the Telangana government for prioritizing student welfare and criticized past administrations for neglecting hostels. He urged principals to follow the new menu and address infrastructure issues. Officials, local leaders, and party workers attended the event, which also included a science exhibition and lunch with students.
