Integrated High-Risk Pregnancy Management Training Conducted in Mulugu

The Telangana State Health Mission, in collaboration with UNICEF and Armaan NGO, organized a one-day training camp on integrated high-risk pregnancy management guidelines at the District Health Office meeting hall in Mulugu. The program was inaugurated by Dr. Vipin Kumar, Deputy District Medical and Health Officer, who emphasized the importance of training in enhancing knowledge and skills for early identification and timely intervention in high-risk pregnancies to ensure safe deliveries.
Dr. Vipin Kumar urged health workers to deliver systematic care to pregnant women, strengthening public trust in government health services. The training covered topics such as anemia, high blood pressure, pre-labor bleeding, diabetes, epilepsy, heart disease, mental health, thyroid issues, and post-Cesarean care. Expert trainers from the state, including Dr. Santoshi, Dr. Sravanthi, and Dr. Soujanya, provided detailed sessions for health workers from primary health centers.
The camp was attended by District Maternal Health and Nutrition Program Officer Dr. Srikanth, Non-Communicable Diseases Program Officer Dr. Pawan Kumar, District Child Health and Immunization Officer Dr. Ranadhir, and various medical officers, including Dr. Prasad and CHOs Durga Rao and Poorna Sampath. Supervisors and coordinators like Suresh Babu and Venkat Reddy also participated, ensuring the program’s success with the active involvement of all health workers.
