TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu announced collaborative efforts to provide better, more transparent, and efficient services to devotees of Lord Venkateswara. Addressing the media at Annamaiah Bhavan on Monday, alongside TTD EO and Additional EO, he emphasized the commitment to enhancing devotees’ experiences through collective decisions by the TTD governing body.
B.R. Naidu urged media representatives to verify information before publishing and avoid false claims about delays or conflicts. He clarified that decisions made by the TTD Board are executed with due diligence, though technical delays may occur. He dismissed rumors of differences between him and EO Shyamala Rao as baseless.
Enhanced Services for Vaikuntha Ekadashi
Naidu highlighted the success of Vaikuntha Ekadashi celebrations, with improvements in darshan arrangements, queue lines, annaprasadam, and prasadam quality. He noted that any mismanagement, such as crowd incidents in Tirupati, deeply concerned the administration. The government has provided compensation to 31 affected families, with 20 more to receive assistance shortly.
Appeal to Social Media
EO Shyamala Rao urged social media platforms and media outlets to avoid spreading false narratives. He assured that the governing body works in harmony to execute decisions. He emphasized the TTD’s commitment to enhancing transparency and quality across services.
Focus on Reforms and Accountability
Additional EO Venkayya Chowdary detailed recent reforms, including auditing donor contributions and improving accommodation transparency. Plans are underway to enable devotees to access room allotment details through WhatsApp, minimizing wait times and manual interventions. He added that darshan services have become more efficient, with improved arrangements for major events like Vaikuntha Ekadashi.
The administration reaffirmed its commitment to prioritizing devotees’ needs and maintaining high standards of service at Tirumala.
