World Meditation Day Celebrated by Lawyers’ Association

On the occasion of World Meditation Day, the Lawyers’ Association, in collaboration with Art of Living, organized a grand event at the Association Hall in Nizamabad. District President of the Lawyers’ Association, Mallepula Jagan Mohan Reddy, highlighted the significance of meditation in resolving modern societal issues such as stress, violence, trust deficits, and strained relationships. He emphasized the need for individuals to adopt meditation as a daily practice to lead peaceful and balanced lives.
Art of Living representative Rajarani Agarwal, the guest speaker, explained the benefits and techniques of meditation to the audience. She guided a 15-minute meditation session and discussed the importance of pranayama in daily life. Addressing the unique challenges faced by lawyers, including work pressure, depression, and health issues like hypertension and diabetes, Agarwal stressed the role of meditation in purifying the mind and rejuvenating the body.
The event witnessed active participation from members of the legal fraternity, including Chief Legal Aid Defense Counsel Rajkumar Subedar and lawyers Sudarshan Reddy, Ankita Puli, Jaipal, Prabhakar Reddy, Gangaram, Madhukar, Sriman, Sadulla, Asha Narayan, and Charan Kumar, among others. The celebration served as an inspiring step towards integrating mindfulness and well-being into daily life.
