Welfare schemes are being implemented as an ongoing process to ensure inclusive growth, emphasized Nirmal District Collector Abhilasha Abhinav on Tuesday. She participated in Praja Palana Ward and Gram Sabha meetings at Naidivada in Nirmal town and New Pochampad village in Nirmal Rural Mandal.
During the sessions, the Collector explained key government initiatives such as Rythu Bharosa, Indiramma Housing, Food Security Cards (Ration Cards), and Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa, set to commence from January 26. She emphasized that thorough field inspections were conducted to identify eligible beneficiaries for these schemes.
She highlighted that under Rythu Bharosa, farmers cultivating land will receive ₹12,000 per acre as financial assistance. Agricultural laborers without land will receive ₹12,000 in two installments under the Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa scheme, provided they worked for at least 20 days under the employment guarantee scheme. Applications for new ration cards were thoroughly scrutinized to ensure compliance with government guidelines.
The Collector announced the details of beneficiaries identified under the schemes during the Gram Sabha meetings, assuring complete transparency. She urged eligible individuals who have not yet applied or whose names are missing from the beneficiary lists to submit their applications during the Gram Sabha or at public service centers in Mandal offices after January 26.
She assured the public that every application would be reviewed, and all eligible individuals would benefit from the welfare schemes. The Collector encouraged people not to be misled by rumors or unnecessary concerns.
The event witnessed participation from RDO Ratna Kalyani, DSO Kiran Kumar, Tahsildars Raju and Santosh, local officials, and villagers.
