Voluntary Handover of Government Lands Encouraged: Rajanna Sircilla Collector

Rajanna Sircilla District Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha has urged individuals occupying government lands to voluntarily hand them over. Addressing the media on Wednesday at the Integrated District Collectorate Mini Conference Hall, he was joined by SP Akhil Mahajan and Additional Collector Khemya Naik to discuss the issue.
Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha stated that Kunaveni Narsaiah of Sarampalli village in Thangallapalli mandal had decided to relinquish 5 acres of government land in survey number 464/4 that he had been cultivating. Similarly, Buss Lingam of Mandepalli village in Thangallapalli mandal voluntarily handed over one acre of government land in survey number 365/A/2.
The Collector appealed to anyone occupying government lands to return them voluntarily, emphasizing that such lands would be utilized for public welfare initiatives, including distributing house plots to the poor and constructing Indiramma houses. He also announced that those who occupied government lands between 2018 and 2023 while benefiting from schemes like Rythu Bandhu and PM Kisan would be issued demand notices to recover the funds.
The Collector reiterated the government’s commitment to identifying and reclaiming encroached lands for the welfare of underprivileged citizens.
