Tummalagunta Temple: A Gateway to Heaven on Earth

The Tummalagunta Temple, with its heavenly ambiance, opened its gates on the auspicious occasion of Vaikuntha Ekadashi. After performing the ritualistic prayers as per the Tirumala tradition, the priests began the opening of the Vaikuntha Dwaram, drawing a large number of devotees.
The devotees, after special prayers, were able to enter through the seven gates, beginning the sacred journey into the temple. The Vaikuntha Dwaram was beautifully decorated with fragrant flowers and leaves, creating an atmosphere that resembled Vaikuntha itself.
The Anand Nilayam and Garuda Dwaram, in particular, attracted many devotees. Devotees, chanting the divine name of Govinda, entered the gates in large numbers, while the temple surroundings were adorned with captivating floral decorations.
The temple’s chief priest, along with temple officials, ensured that arrangements were made to make the Swami’s darshan accessible to all, with separate queues for common devotees to avoid delays.
Special arrangements for the darshan were made so that every devotee could experience the blessing of Lord Venkateswara without any hindrance. The temple also hosted performances of Srivari Kirtanas and traditional dances by artists from Vijayawada, enriching the spiritual atmosphere.
The temple, illuminated by thousands of lights, presented a grand spectacle. The Vaikuntha Ekadashi celebrations at Tummalagunta Temple were a sight to behold, with devotees flocking from all corners to experience the divine blessings.
