Tirupati District Police Welfare Initiatives Under SP Manikanta Chandolu’s Leadership

Tirupati District In-charge SP V. N. Manikanta Chandolu, IPS, has prioritized the welfare of police personnel by providing financial assistance and implementing supportive measures for the benefit of police families and staff.
In a compassionate gesture, SP Manikanta Chandolu handed over financial aid to the families of deceased head constables who passed away due to health issues. The families of Vijayakumar Naik (HC 838), B. Lakshminarayana (HC 2900), and K. Srinivasulu (HC 2835) were each provided ₹1,00,000, amounting to a total of ₹3,00,000.
Additionally, financial assistance for medical expenses was extended to 10 home guards serving in the district. Each home guard received ₹4,999, totaling ₹49,990, as they had been suffering from health-related issues. The event was held at the Tirupati District Police Headquarters.
Speaking on the occasion, SP Chandolu emphasized the department’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of its personnel and their families. He reassured the attendees that supporting police staff in times of need remains a top priority.
The program was attended by Additional SPs Venkat Rao (Administration) and Ravi Manoharachari (Law & Order), Home Guards RI Pothuluraju, family members of the deceased personnel, and the beneficiary home guards. The event highlighted the Tirupati District Police’s dedication to addressing the welfare needs of its staff and their families.
