DECEMBER 19: A tiger sighting in Gundayipet village of Koutala Mandal caused panic among farmers working in a chili field. The farmers immediately informed the Forest Department about the presence of the tiger.
Upon reaching the location, Forest Department officials confirmed the presence of the tiger by identifying its pugmarks. They have advised villagers to avoid going to the fields alone and to stay vigilant.
The officials assured the residents that necessary measures are being taken to ensure their safety and to monitor the movement of the tiger in the area. Villagers have been requested to report any further sightings immediately to prevent any untoward incidents.
