Telangana Kisan Congress State General Secretary Boranchu Srikanth Reddy emphasized the importance of excelling in both academics and sports to achieve greater heights in life. He was speaking at the district-level Kho-Kho selection event held at the Government School in Kodad village of Talamadugu Mandal.

Srikanth Reddy distributed specially designed t-shirts to the selection team members and was honored with a shawl by the Adilabad District Kho-Kho Association and the Village Development Committee. He motivated the participants by stressing that victories and defeats are natural in sports and urged them not to lose heart after a loss but to work harder to showcase their talent.

During the event, national-level athletes and their coaches were felicitated, alongside retired army personnel Raja Reddy, Kannam Ashok, and Pradeep. Srikanth Reddy highlighted the Telangana government’s commitment to promoting sports, mentioning the establishment of the Young India Sports University. He also expressed pride in Hyderabad hosting the prestigious Santosh Trophy football tournament after 57 years, with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy recently unveiling its related posters.

He encouraged students to pursue their interests in sports and strive for excellence. Prominent attendees included Ramagundam ACP Johnny Narsimulu, DSP Narsimulu, District Tribal Sports Officer Parthasarathy, District Kho-Kho Association Secretary N. Sridhar Reddy, A. Dayanand Reddy, Mavala Congress Party President Dharmapuri Chandrashekar, Kisan Congress District Vice Presidents Tadisen Venkat Reddy, Nalimela Naveen Reddy, Krishna, Pochanna, Lakshmi, Mettu Kiran, Shiva, Jayashree, Rashtrapal, former Sarpanch Anand, Venkatesh, Irfan Khan, Feroz Khan, and Adellu.
