Sri Kondapochamma Temple Ready for Annual Jatara Celebrations

The scenic Sri Kondapochamma Temple in Jagadevpur Mandal of Siddipet district is fully prepared for its grand annual jatara. Nestled near Teegul Narsapur village, the temple holds significant cultural and spiritual importance. It is believed that Kondapochamma is the sister of Komuravelli Mallikarjuna Swamy, adding to its divine reverence.
The festivities commenced today with Saduru Patam (sacred invocation) coinciding with Bhogi celebrations. The jatara officially begins on January 20 and will conclude with Ugadi festivities. Thousands of devotees from twin cities Hyderabad and Secunderabad, as well as Warangal, Karimnagar, Adilabad, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Jangaon, and neighboring districts, are expected to attend the celebrations.
Considering the anticipated influx of devotees, village sarpanch Rajitha Ramesh stated that special sanitation teams have been deployed to maintain cleanliness and ensure a smooth experience for all attendees. The temple premises are adorned beautifully, reflecting the festive spirit and devotion of the devotees.
