Tension prevailed in Nampally village under the Vemulawada Municipal limits as villagers opposed the arrest of RMP doctor Srinivas. On Wednesday, health department officials conducted raids on Srinivas’s clinic and, with police assistance, attempted to seize it in the evening.
Villagers blocked the officials from entering the clinic, resulting in a tense atmosphere. Despite resistance, officials claimed the clinic violated regulations and proceeded with the seizure with police support. The situation highlighted the conflict between regulatory enforcement and community sentiments.
