Rare Surgeries Successfully Conducted at RIMS Super Specialty Hospital

In a remarkable achievement, two rare surgeries were successfully performed at the RIMS Super Specialty Hospital in Adilabad, as stated by Director Jaising Rathod.
One of the surgeries involved a woman named Naitam Lakshmi Bai from Palsi village in Talamadugu Mandal. She suffered a severe head injury, leading to blood clotting in her brain and loss of consciousness. Upon her admission to RIMS, doctors performed a successful brain surgery under the supervision of Neurosurgeon Vijay Mohan Raju. Director Rathod noted that this was the first time such a complex brain surgery was conducted at RIMS.
In another case, a woman named Ranjana from Ankapur village in Adilabad Mandal was admitted with severe abdominal pain. Doctors identified a six-kilogram tumor in her abdomen, which was surgically removed in a successful operation.
Director Rathod highlighted that the hospital has been performing a range of successful surgeries, including plastic, cancer, cardio, and neuro surgeries, providing advanced medical care to patients. He emphasized that these milestones reinforce the hospital’s commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services in the region.
