Promotion Brings Greater Responsibilities - SP Gouse Alam, IPS

Adilabad District Superintendent of Police (SP) Gouse Alam, IPS, emphasized that promotions come with increased responsibilities and urged the promoted officers to perform their duties with renewed enthusiasm.

Fingerprint expert P. Srinivas, previously serving as an ASI, has been promoted to the rank of Sub-Inspector (SI). Known for his expertise in identifying fingerprints and solving crimes, Srinivas has had a commendable career. After serving for 20 years in the Army, he joined the Telangana State Police as a Fingerprint ASI in 2020 and has now earned his promotion to SI.

In a ceremonial event held at the district police headquarters, SP Gouse Alam adorned P. Srinivas with the star insignia on his shoulders, marking his new rank, and congratulated him on his achievement.

Speaking on the occasion, the SP stated, “With promotion comes greater responsibilities. Officers should continue to showcase exceptional performance and contribute to the reputation of the district police force.” He highlighted Srinivas’s significant contributions in solving thefts and critical cases by skillfully identifying fingerprints and apprehending culprits.

P. Srinivas’s journey from a 20-year tenure in the Army to serving the Telangana Police Department exemplifies dedication and commitment.

The event was attended by CC Durga Srinivas, Association President Penchala Venkateshwarlu, Head Constable Ramesh, staff member Ganesh, and others, who extended their congratulations to the newly promoted SI.
