Prestigious Welfare Schemes to Launch from January 26: Nalgonda Collector’s Directive

DECCAN FREEDOM NALGONDA JAN 11

District Collector Ila Tripathi has directed officials to prepare for the implementation of four major welfare schemes—Rythu Bharosa, Indiramma Aatmiya Bharosa, New Ration Cards, and Indiramma Housing—set to be launched by the state government on January 26.

During a meeting held at the District Collectorate on Saturday, the Collector reviewed the action plans, objectives, and guidelines for these schemes with district officials, mandal-level special officers, and RDOs.

Key Highlights of the Welfare Schemes

1. Rythu Bharosa:

Farmers with eligible agricultural lands, as identified in the Dharani portal, will receive ₹12,000 per acre annually. The scheme ensures that only agricultural lands are considered for eligibility.

2. Indiramma Aatmiya Bharosa:

Landless agricultural laborers will receive ₹12,000 per year in two installments of ₹6,000 each. Eligibility includes possession of a job card under the MGNREGA scheme and a minimum of 20 workdays during 2023-24.

3. New Ration Cards:

New ration cards will be issued at the village and municipal levels. MPDOs and municipal commissioners are tasked with distributing these cards under the “One State, One Ration Card” system. The government ensures that no individual is listed under multiple ration cards.

4. Indiramma Housing:

This scheme targets landless individuals below the poverty line, including widows, agricultural laborers, sanitation workers, and differently-abled individuals. Beneficiaries will receive houses on priority.
