Pre-Sankranti Celebrations Held at Dharmapuri’s Jagathi School

Pre-Sankranti celebrations were joyfully conducted at the “Jagathi” School in Dharmapuri under the guidance of Headmistress Swetha. The event included a triathlon competition for students, with prizes distributed to the winners. The highlight of the celebrations was the mesmerizing Basavanna vinyasas performed by Haridasu Veshadaran, which captivated the children.
Headmistress Swetha explained the cultural and traditional importance of Sankranti, narrating mythological stories to emphasize the festival’s significance.
The program saw active participation from School Correspondent Satish, directors, teachers, parents, and others, making it a memorable event for all.
