"Police Welfare Drive in Maoist-Affected Areas”

In an effort to support the welfare and development of residents in Maoist-affected areas, the police organized a community outreach program in Nagavalli village of Bejjur Mandal. The initiative, led by Asifabad District SP D.V. Srinivas Rao IPS, focused on distributing essential supplies, blankets, volleyball kits for youth, and conducting a free medical camp with medicine distribution.
The event witnessed active participation from over 300 residents of Nagavalli, Doddi Guda, and Mogavelli villages, including local leaders such as Patels and village elders. The SP emphasized the police department’s continuous efforts to ensure the welfare and safety of people living in remote and vulnerable regions.
A team of expert doctors from Vijetha Hospital, Koutala, conducted medical check-ups and distributed free medicines to those in need. The event highlighted the police’s commitment to not just maintaining law and order but also fostering trust and development in these remote communities.
