Police Commissioner Abhishek IPS Attends Pensioners’ Day Event in Karimnagar

Karimnagar Police Commissioner Abhishek IPS participated as the chief guest in the Pensioners’ Day event organized by retired police officials on Tuesday at a function hall in Vidyanagar. Probationary IPS officer Yadav Vasundhara Fourebie also attended the event, where the guests were warmly welcomed with saplings.

Addressing the gathering, Commissioner Abhishek praised the retired officials for their exemplary service spanning 35 to 40 years. He highlighted their role in maintaining peace and combating anti-social elements, noting that some officers had even sacrificed their lives in the line of duty, making their contributions unforgettable. A two-minute silence was observed to honor the recently deceased retired officials. The Commissioner felicitated 40 retired officers, who completed 10 years with the Retired Police Officers Association, by presenting them with garlands and shawls.

He urged the newly recruited police personnel to draw inspiration from the retired officers’ dedication and assured prompt resolution of any concerns brought to his attention. The event was attended by Karimnagar Town ACP Gopati Narender, Two-Town Inspector Vijay Kumar, Retired Officers Association President Hariprasad, State President Rajamouli, and other members, including Muntuja, Mallayya, Lingayya, officials, and staff.
