Mobile Phones Traced Through CEIR Portal and Handed Over to Owners

Two residents of Kagaznagar town, Brijesh and Sai Ram, who had recently lost their mobile phones, registered a complaint at the Kagaznagar Town Police Station. Under the supervision of Town CI P. Rajendra Prasad, the phones were successfully traced using the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) Portal and handed back to the owners on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, CI Rajendra Prasad urged citizens to register their lost or stolen phones on the CEIR Portal, highlighting its effectiveness in recovering mobile devices. He emphasized that the portal provides a reliable platform for tracing and retrieving missing phones.
The event also saw the participation of SI Dheekonda Ramesh, who assisted in returning the phones. The owners expressed their gratitude to the police for their swift action and support.
