MLC Jeevan Reddy Visits Jagtial Urban Gurukul School

MLC Tati Parti Jeevan Reddy, under the initiative of the Youth Congress, conducted a surprise visit to the Jagtial Urban Gurukul School on Saturday.

During the visit, he inspected classrooms, interacted with students, and reviewed hostel facilities. He also examined the kitchen and enquired about the daily menu and the quality of food being served.

Highlighting the lack of permanent infrastructure for the school, Reddy pointed out the shortage of basic facilities such as toilets, a proper kitchen, and adequate classrooms. Due to the lack of sufficient amenities, many students have been forced to seek admission in other schools.

MLC Jeevan Reddy assured that he would bring the issue to the attention of the District Collector and work towards relocating the school to a better-equipped location. He suggested exploring options to move the Urban Gurukul School to the old SP office building at the ST Hostel or the underutilized primary school building in Gopal Rao Pet village.

He emphasized the importance of providing essential facilities for the welfare of economically disadvantaged students and pledged to escalate the matter to the government to ensure the necessary resources are made available.
