Ministers Launch Electric Buses at TGS RTC Depot in Hanamkonda

A new era in eco-friendly transportation began with the inauguration of electric buses at the TGS RTC Bus Depot in Hanamkonda. The event was graced by Telangana’s Minister for Forest, Environment, Endowments, and Charitable Affairs, Smt. Konda Surekha, District In-Charge Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, and Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar.
The ministers ceremonially launched the electric buses by breaking a coconut and later traveled in one of the newly introduced buses. Joining them on this significant occasion were Mayor Gundu Sudharani, MP Kadiyam Kavya, Warangal West MLA Naini Rajender Reddy, Telangana Finance Corporation Chairman Sirisilla Rajaiah, and Collectors of Hanamkonda and Warangal, Praveenya and Sathya Sharada.
The introduction of electric buses marks a significant step toward sustainable and green transportation in Telangana, with an emphasis on reducing carbon emissions and promoting eco-friendly alternatives.
