Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy Visits Huzur Nagar Sub-Jail and Extends New Year Greetings

Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy visited the Huzur Nagar Sub-Jail on New Year’s Day to interact with the inmates and extend his heartfelt New Year wishes. The minister took the opportunity to encourage the prisoners and express his support, emphasizing rehabilitation and progress.
During his visit, Minister Uttam Kumar highlighted several developmental initiatives for the Huzur Nagar constituency and Telangana state. He announced that fine rice would be distributed through ration cards in the next two months and assured that ration cards would be issued to those who currently lack them. He noted that the state had achieved a remarkable harvest of 155 lakh metric tonnes of paddy this year, with farmers earning up to ₹40,000 per acre due to the support price and bonus provided.
The minister revealed plans for the construction of a ring road in Huzur Nagar town, inspired by Hyderabad’s infrastructure. He assured that every acre in the constituency would receive adequate irrigation water, reflecting his commitment to making Huzur Nagar a model constituency in Telangana.
Focusing on education and healthcare, the minister announced the sanctioning of a new building for the local intermediate college and the addition of rooms and a CT scan facility for the Huzur Nagar Area Hospital. He reiterated the government’s dedication to improving these critical sectors.
Minister Uttam Kumar also spoke about infrastructure improvements, including the construction of double roads and the commencement of related works in some areas. Additionally, he shared plans for a new court building in Huzur Nagar and the establishment of a High Court in Hyderabad.
Concluding his visit, the minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to the overall development of the constituency. He emphasized the importance of prioritizing education, healthcare, and infrastructure to ensure a prosperous and progressive future for Huzur Nagar.
