Legal Awareness Seminar Held by District Legal Services Authority in Karimnagar

Under the leadership of Senior Civil Judge and District Legal Services Authority Secretary K. Venkatesh, a legal awareness seminar was conducted at the Zilla Parishad High School in Durshaidu village. Addressing the students, Judge Venkatesh emphasized the importance of discipline during student life, stating that discipline is the foundation for a bright future.

He cautioned students against the use of narcotic substances and association with those who consume or distribute them. He highlighted that strict laws and severe punishments are in place for offenses related to drug possession and usage. The judge urged students to lead disciplined lives, avoid bad habits, and show respect towards teachers. He likened schools to temples and stressed the responsibility of students to protect and honor their learning environment.

The judge also advised parents to monitor their children’s behavior closely and encouraged the school staff to approach the legal services authority for any legal assistance required.

The event was attended by Legal Aid Defense Counsel Tanuku Mahesh, Rural Police Station SI Lakshmareddy, the school’s principal, teaching, and non-teaching staff.
