Passengers at Kagaznagar Railway Station are facing severe hardships due to the lack of basic facilities. Despite being a key station where Intercity and Kagaznagar Express trains commence, the station remains ill-equipped to handle the daily influx of thousands of passengers.

When trains are delayed, passengers are forced to wait under the blazing sun, as there are insufficient shelters on Platform 3. The sole existing shelter is far from adequate to accommodate the crowd. Adding to their woes, there are no drinking water facilities on the platform, leaving passengers thirsty and helpless.

Frustrated residents and passengers are urging railway authorities to address these pressing issues immediately. They are demanding the construction of additional shelters on Platform 3 to provide respite from the sun and rain.

Moreover, passengers have strongly appealed for the establishment of a ticket counter on Platform 3, as the absence of one adds to their inconvenience.

It is high time for the railway officials to act swiftly and ensure that passengers are provided with the necessary facilities to travel comfortably and with dignity.
