Illegal Activities Will Face Strict Action: Multi-Zone II IGP Satyanarayana

Speaking at a media conference held at the SP Office in Suryapet district headquarters, Multi-Zone II IGP Satyanarayana addressed the issue of illegal activities, emphasizing strong measures to curb them.
The IGP revealed that authorities have taken necessary steps to prevent the illegal transport of PDS rice in the united Nalgonda district. “We have apprehended six individuals involved in the illegal transport of PDS rice and initiated an inquiry into their operations,” he stated.
Further highlighting the actions taken, IGP Satyanarayana said, “Strict surveillance has been established at border checkpoints to curb the smuggling of PDS rice to other states. On NH-65, we have strengthened police security at checkpoints to prevent the illegal transport of PDS rice, sand, and marijuana.”
The IGP also mentioned that seven checkpoints have been set up at interstate borders to monitor and halt the illegal transport of grains from neighboring states. “The police department is fully committed to taking stringent action against those engaged in such illicit activities,” he asserted.
The efforts aim to ensure transparency and compliance in the transport of essential commodities while maintaining law and order across the district and its borders.
