Group-II Exams to Be Conducted with Robust Arrangements: Collector

Nirmal District Collector Abhilasha Abhinav has directed officials to ensure meticulous arrangements for the smooth conduct of Group-II exams scheduled on December 15 and 16. Chairing a meeting at the Collectorate conference hall alongside Additional Collector Faizan Ahmed, the Collector emphasized the need for efficient management and preparedness for the exams.
The district has designated 24 exam centers for the 8,080 candidates registered to appear. The Collector instructed officials to provide training for invigilators, departmental officers, and flying squad teams. She also directed police authorities to ensure secure transportation of exam papers and implement Section 144 around exam centers. Additionally, Xerox centers near the centers will be closed, and stringent security measures will be enforced.
The exams will take place on December 15, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM, and on December 16 during the same timings. Candidates were advised to follow the Telangana Public Service Commission guidelines and refrain from bringing mobile phones or electronic devices to the centers.
The Collector also instructed officials to ensure uninterrupted power supply, clean restrooms, potable drinking water, and first aid facilities at all centers. She further directed RTC officials to operate additional buses on exam routes to facilitate candidates’ transportation. Coordination between departments is essential to ensure the smooth conduct of the exams, she noted.
The meeting was attended by Additional SP Upender Reddy, RDO Ratna Kalyani, Public Service Regional Coordinator PG Reddy, Education Officer P. Rama Rao, RIO Parashuram, Municipal Commissioner Khamar Ahmed, H-Section Superintendent Ramamohan, and Tahsildars Raju and Santosh, among other officials.
