The Vaikuntha Ekadashi celebrations in Karimnagar were conducted with great enthusiasm. The city’s Vaishnavite temples were buzzing with devotees. As part of the festivities, Karimnagar Municipal Corporation Mayor Yadgiri Aparna Sunil Rao and her husband visited the Bhagath Nagar Harihara Ayyappa Temple, located in the 33rd division. They then proceeded to the local Venkateshwara temple where they entered the temple through the Vaikuntha Dwaram (Gateway), chanting the name of Lord Govinda, and performed special poojas, offering their gratitude to the Lord.

The temple priests blessed the Mayor and her husband by offering them traditional shawls. Speaking during the occasion, Mayor Yadgiri Aparna Sunil Rao mentioned that the Municipal Corporation had taken steps to ensure smooth celebrations by providing proper arrangements for cleanliness and lighting in all the temples of the city, ensuring that devotees faced no difficulties.

She also mentioned that they had visited the Venkateshwara Swamy temple in the Ayyappa temple premises and offered their prayers, wishing for the happiness and fulfillment of all the people in Telangana. The celebrations saw active participation from devotees.
