Grand Tributes Paid to NTR by TDP Leaders in Puttur

In a heartfelt homage to the former Chief Minister of the erstwhile united Andhra Pradesh, Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR), Telugu Desam Party (TDP) members organized large-scale programs in Puttur Municipality under the leadership of Chittoor District TNTUC President Madhava Naidu. The events included a medical camp, blood donation drive, photo exhibition, and annadanam, drawing significant participation.
Chittoor Parliamentary Representative Chinnababu graced the occasion as the chief guest. He began by paying floral tributes to the statues of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and NTR. Later, he inaugurated the medical camp, blood donation drive, and breakfast program arranged for the underprivileged. Speaking at the event, Chinnababu highlighted NTR’s multifaceted legacy, artistic vision, and tireless dedication to the welfare of the people. He urged the youth to draw inspiration from NTR’s life, emphasizing his commitment to innovation and his profound impact across various fields.
Chinnababu lauded NTR’s democratic ideals, describing his philosophy of “people as gods and society as a temple” as a guiding mantra for future generations. He recalled NTR’s welfare initiatives, including ₹2-per-kilogram rice, Janata clothes for the poor, property rights for women, ₹50 horse power for farmers, and the introduction of pensions, which made him a household name among the underprivileged.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from leaders and supporters, including Ganja Madhavaiah, Jeevaratnam Naidu, Ammulu, Ravi Raju, and several TDP members, who paid their tributes with reverence.
