In a groundbreaking initiative, the district government launched online coaching for IIT, JEE, and NEET exams at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs) in Rajanna Sircilla district. The online education program was inaugurated by Government Whip and Vemulawada MLA, Aadi Srinivas, along with District Collector, Sandeep Kumar Jha, at the KGBVs in Rudrangi, Chandurthi, and Marripalli mandals on Thursday.
The new program aims to provide high-quality coaching to students preparing for prestigious entrance exams, enabling them to access resources typically available in corporate schools. Aadi Srinivas emphasized the importance of this initiative for students from rural areas and how it can level the playing field by offering world-class coaching in their local areas.
The event included a tour of the school facilities, where the Collector and MLA inspected the kitchen, storeroom, and dining area, ensuring students received nutritious meals as per the approved menu. The officials also ensured that the facilities met hygiene standards and that students had a conducive environment for learning.
District Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha praised the initiative and the collaboration between the government and corporate coaching providers like Unacademy. He highlighted that this project would provide middle-class students access to the same quality of coaching offered by elite institutes in cities like Delhi, Hyderabad, and Kota.
Further, Aadi Srinivas reiterated that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao’s vision is to improve the quality of education and facilities for students in government schools, ensuring equal opportunities for all. He also announced that the district would offer scholarships to students excelling in their academics and promised to honor those who achieve top grades with a special recognition ceremony.
This initiative marks a significant step towards transforming education in the district, giving students in rural areas the tools they need to succeed in competitive exams. The event was attended by various officials, including District Education Officer Jagan Mohan Reddy, District Welfare Officer Lakshmi Rajam, and the Principals and teachers of the KGBVs.
