Final Voter List Published in Nalgonda District

Nalgonda, January 6:
As part of the special voter list revision, the final voter list was published on Monday. Commissioner of BC Welfare, Balamaya Devi, emphasized the importance of enrolling all eligible voters who have turned 18. She urged officials to ensure the inclusion of every eligible voter in the list.
During a review meeting held at the Nalgonda District Collector’s chamber, she discussed the voter enrollment process, EP ratios, and gender ratios with officials from Nalgonda and Suryapet districts. She directed the voter registration officers to verify and remove the names of deceased individuals while adding new eligible voters.
The Election Commission instructed the publication of the final voter list at all polling stations, Tahsildar offices, RDO offices, and District Collector’s offices. Commissioner Balamaya Devi encouraged citizens to check their names in the voter list and apply for registration if their names are missing. She reiterated that all individuals who have completed 18 years of age are eligible for voter registration.
She also reviewed the district’s gender and EP ratios, comparing them with state averages, and directed officials to address discrepancies and ensure accuracy in the voter list.
