Excise Police Destroy ₹3.5 Crore Worth of Drugs

Deccan Freedom, Nizamabad, December 9

In a significant anti-drug operation, the Excise Police destroyed narcotics worth ₹3.5 crore, including 1007.02 kg of dry ganja, 35 kg of ganja chocolates, 7 kg of diazepam, and 8 kg of alprazolam, along with two ganja plants. The destruction took place at Medicare Services in Padkal village, Jakranpally mandal, under strict supervision.

SHOs and staff from Nizamabad, Bodhan, and Armoor participated in the program, ensuring the narcotics were incinerated following legal protocols. Officials reiterated their commitment to eradicating the drug menace and warned of strict action against those involved in drug trafficking and production.

The Excise Department emphasized its resolve to make the district drug-free, urging the public to report suspicious activities and contribute to the fight against narcotics.
