Renowned philanthropist and Andhra Sri Award recipient Dr. Yellampati Koteshwara Babu once again demonstrated his generosity by distributing sarees to 70 female sanitation workers of the Sri Kalahasti Municipality. The event was held on Friday, coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Vaikuntha Ekadashi.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Koteshwara Babu emphasized the sanctity of the day, describing it as a time when the divine energies align with Lord Vishnu. He expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to honor the dedication of sanitation workers who played a pivotal role during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dr. Babu praised the workers for their tireless efforts in maintaining cleanliness even during challenging times, highlighting their courage and commitment. He described the act of distributing sarees as a privilege and a gesture of gratitude for their invaluable service to society.
The event was attended by Municipal Sanitary Inspectors Balakrishna and Tirumala Rao, supervisors Uday, Anil, and Srikanth, along with staff from the 18th Ward Secretariat, including Pasupuleti Purushotham and Mastan, among others.
