District Collector M. Manu Choudhary Issues Directions for Republic Day Preparations

Siddipet District Collector M. Manu Choudhary has instructed officials to ensure the meticulous organization of Republic Day celebrations. On Friday, the District Collector, accompanied by Additional Collector Abdul Hameed, visited the Government Degree College grounds in the district headquarters to oversee the arrangements for the event. The Collector reviewed the stage setup, VIP seating, media arrangements, and seating for other public representatives, offering necessary suggestions to streamline the event.
The Collector emphasized the need for proper arrangements for the national flag hoisting ceremony, guard of honor, parade inspection, protocols, cultural programs, and other aspects of the celebrations. He also instructed the Municipal Commissioner Ashrith Kumar to ensure that drinking water facilities and sanitation arrangements are efficiently handled at the event venue.
Additionally, the Collector directed Urban Tahsildar Salim to manage arrangements for honoring freedom fighters, while also ensuring the display of government schemes through department stalls. The Deputy Executive Engineer of I&PR was asked to ensure the proper setup of the microphone system and sound equipment for cultural programs.
Siddipet’s Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Subhash Chandra Bose was tasked with ensuring tight police security and a strong police presence around the event venue for the parade. The Collector also instructed the electricity department to ensure there are no power cuts on the day of the event.
The Collector urged all officials to work in coordination and complete the arrangements well in advance to ensure a smooth Republic Day celebration.
Other officials present at the review meeting included RDO Sadanandam, ACP Madhu, AO Abdul Rahman, DPDO Ravi Kumar, I&PR Executive Engineer Bhoopal, Education Sector Officer Ramaswamy, and Electricity SE Chandramohan, among others.
