CPM’s 21st District Conference Begins Grandly in Miryalaguda

Nalgonda, December 2:

The 21st District Conference of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) began with grandeur in Miryalaguda, Nalgonda district. The three-day conference was inaugurated with a massive rally through the town, culminating in a public meeting at the NSP camp grounds.

CPM Politburo member BV Raghavulu addressed the gathering, criticizing Prime Minister Modi’s policies for endangering the country’s future. He stated that under Modi’s rule, the rich are becoming richer while the poor are struggling with increasing burdens. Raghavulu condemned the anti-people policies of the central government and declared CPM’s readiness to raise public awareness and launch strong movements against them.

He demanded the introduction of a Minimum Support Price (MSP) law to rescue agriculture from crisis and prevent farmer suicides. Raghavulu also expressed concerns about the proposed Agrisat scheme, warning it could reduce farmers to mere laborers on their own lands. He cautioned that the looting of national wealth could lead to economic situations akin to those of Sri Lanka and Nepal.

Highlighting CPM’s achievements, Raghavulu credited their struggles for stopping the establishment of a pharma company in Lagacharla village.

The public meeting saw participation from CPM Central Committee member Cherupalli Seetharamulu, state secretariat member and former MLA Julakanti Ranga Reddy, and other prominent leaders.
