Congress Leaders Felicitate Thorlikonda Athletes for Excellence in Softball

Thorlikonda village celebrated its young athletes who brought pride to their community with outstanding performances in softball. In a special event held on Monday, Katipalli Narsareddy, PACS Chairman, felicitated Sambar Nithyashri, who won a bronze medal at the 68th School Games National Softball Competition, and Chikkala Sri Varshini, the gold medalist at the CM Cup State Senior Softball Competition.

The event was graced by Congress Mandal Vice Presidents Utkam Srinivas Goud and Brahmanapalli, along with Armoor Market Committee Director Kanaka Ravi. Other dignitaries included School Physical Director Markanti Ganga Mohan, Thorlikonda Congress Party President Tajuddin, General Secretary Kanaka Rakesh, Secretary Bahla Vinod, and senior leaders Jai Gangaram, Katpalli Sai Reddy, Nalla Gangareddy, Chikala Kumar, Rajesh Goud, Kailas, Rajesh Khanna, and Srinivas Goud.

During the program, Thorlikonda players who excelled in softball were honored, and mementos were presented as a token of appreciation. Speaking on the occasion, Mandal Vice President Srinivas Goud expressed his gratitude for the athletes’ dedication and applauded the village for its consistent contribution to state sports. The event marked a proud moment for the village and a significant recognition of its sporting talent.
