BRS leader Dr. R.S. Praveen Kumar held a press meet at Telangana Bhavan, criticizing the state’s deteriorating law and order under the Congress-led government. He highlighted rising crimes, including a 40% increase in murders and 82% growth in crimes against women under 18, and accused the administration of turning the police force into a political tool.
Dr. Kumar expressed concern over growing cybercrimes, thefts, and financial frauds, alleging police inaction on critical issues like betting apps and loan scams while focusing on political vendettas. He condemned attacks on journalists, farmer distress, and police suicides, blaming the government for failing to fulfill promises to public servants.
He called for transparency, fair policing, and accountability, urging the government to prioritize citizen welfare over political gains. Senior BRS leaders Kurava Vijay Kumar, Abhilash Rangineni, and others supported his demands for immediate reforms.
