Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandaru Dattatreya, emphasized the rapid development taking place under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, particularly benefiting all sections of society, including graduates, teachers, and other groups. Addressing a meeting at Shubhamangala Gardens in Karimnagar, Dattatreya highlighted that the government had filled 9.25 lakh job vacancies under the ‘Rozgar Mela’ scheme, ensuring transparency without any corruption allegations.
During the meeting, which was attended by BJP leaders including MLC candidates Malka Komarayya and Godavari Anjireddy, as well as district presidents Gangaidi Krishnareddy, Pratap Ramakrishna, former MLA Bodige Shoba, and former mayor D. Shankar, Dattatreya called for intensified efforts to secure both MLC seats for the party. He urged all attendees to work towards ensuring victory in the upcoming Teacher and Graduate MLC elections by effectively promoting the central government’s welfare schemes at the grassroots level.
The BJP leaders also targeted the Congress party, accusing them of failing to fulfill their six promises made during the last elections, such as providing 2 lakh jobs, implementing PRC increases, and paying DA arrears. Dattatreya stressed the need for the BJP to use these broken promises by the Congress as a central campaign point, emphasizing the government’s commitment to development and welfare schemes.
