BJP Aligns with Ambedkar’s Vision

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is working in alignment with Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s vision and aspirations, stated Nizamabad Urban MLA Dhanpal Suryanarayana during the “Samvidhan Gaurav Abhiyan” preparatory meeting in Karimnagar on Monday. The meeting, held at Sai Mahalakshmi Gardens, was chaired by BJP Karimnagar District President Gangadi Krishna Reddy.

Dhanpal Suryanarayana criticized the Congress party, accusing it of showing false love toward Ambedkar while historically disrespecting him. He noted that Congress had failed to honor Ambedkar appropriately, denying him the Bharat Ratna and omitting his photo from the Parliament Hall. He further alleged that Congress undermined the Constitution, citing the imposition of Emergency as an example.

Suryanarayana emphasized BJP’s efforts in honoring Ambedkar, including awarding him the Bharat Ratna and transforming key sites associated with his life into pilgrimage destinations under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He highlighted significant achievements like Article 370’s abrogation, reservation extensions, and strengthening the SC/ST Atrocities Act, all of which align with Ambedkar’s constitutional ideals.

The “Samvidhan Gaurav Abhiyan” campaign aims to spread awareness about constitutional values, particularly among Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, women, and youth. The campaign includes distributing copies of the Constitution, conducting programs in colleges and hostels, and organizing events across districts. On January 26, Republic Day, Ambedkar’s contributions will be commemorated with tributes and public awareness initiatives.

Former MLA Bodige Shobha, District President Gangadi Krishna Reddy, and other leaders encouraged party workers to counter Congress’s misinformation campaigns. State and district BJP leaders, including Bangaru Rajendra Prasad, Madi Venkat Reddy, and others, participated in the event, pledging their commitment to making the campaign a success.
